San Diego Music Jam

San Diego Music Jam

San Diego Music Jam, very nice place with soft music. Rated Moderate. At the time of our visit there was only one other person there, pictured in our photograph.

  1. This place reminds me of the Velvet Lounge on Frankford ave. back in the 1980's. Dark, good music, lots of beer and everybody arguing about who's gonna pay for the cab ride home cause our ride just left.

  2. This was the first place we went to. I would love to go here in real life, looked like a good hangout place with good music.

  3. This would be a nice place to visit in real life. Soft music, nice visuals, not very crowded.

  4. San Diego Music Jam is similar to an outdoor night club in Florida. This place was indoors, but very large and open. This could be due to the lack of other club goers. There were a few other avatars in the building, and they seemed to be enjoying themselves. The fluorescent signs added light to the dance floor. The designer for the other club we visited could learn from this design scheme.

  5. Second Life has many different venues some Art based, some Music based, and depending on the type of study teachers can enhance the learning capabilities by introducing other cultures, other types of music or introduce different Art experiences. It all depends on what resources the teacher wants to use, and to what sites would be benefical in exploring.

  6. Virtual worlds like the Second Life are great for students to improve their communication skills. Not only speaking to each other but also seeing around the world. It is fun to see other personalities by seeing how their avatar appears. It is definitely a different way of interacting with others. Virtual worlds are cool and kids love cool things.
